CD, is the game presently boring for you? If it is not, I am completely baffled by how having a ton of new content released would somehow make it boring. Really I am not seeing this. Taking Davy's hypothetical example, how does the game get boring if Disney releases Raven Cove, ship customization / ability to buy new ship types , and Davy Jones & the Kraken this week and rolls out some new content, let's say, every 6 weeks? To me that would make the game more exciting.

I get your point. But for example: fishing just came out two days ago. I have already mastered it so its not as exciting for me anymore. If all of the new content came out now, there would be no more excitement for me. Every 6 weeks wouldn't be bad, I guess. I just like having things to look forward for. Right now I have a lot!

I understand, now that you are mastered on fishing, as far as progressing, there isn't much to do but be optimistic about what we know will come out next. Which is exactly why I switched to a Basic Account. This points to the lack of a substantial end game. Luckily, I still enjoy a little SvS though I know many who don't. I'm hoping Raven's Cove will bring some deeper content than the recent mini-games, which are okay I guess.
