The best thing to do, is put your ideas of Raven's Cove. Like, is it going to hold a secret unicorn meadow inside?

What you could do, so not to conflict with the real Raven's Cove, is you can put a "secret" place that nobody else can visit on the island. Ex.: A secret cave that requires you to push at certain points and spread bone dust on it. You could easily put a curse with this.
