I have tried 427 different names and combo's
one try to get a pirate name
one try to get a ship name
and the rum is gone 6pm and the rum is gone

Same thing happened to me, I figured it out. If you request the same name twice, it will be rejected. Request a name and then leave it until the next day or so, and it will not be rejected, most likely. Don't request the name by continously pressing the Request button.
