Svs needs help!!!

How often or when was last time you SvSed? My friends and I can name you a lot of players who have quit because of SvS being left behind by Disney.

mhm its true, lot of the folks that made up Black Sharks Inc have left, Rare Jewels came from Black Sharks and many are indeed in wow. Not just Black Sharks either, a few pop back on with their accounts gone grey to see has anything been fixed and all we can say is no, then watch them go, with longer time between each visit as they realise its not changing. Very sad, because its obvious we all love the game but some thing needs to give.

Im still excited about the idea of battle axes and clonking each other in svs (check Midhavs comments in the Whoa this is good thread), but I wouldnt want to see those before the problems are fixed.

I ask that more and more players send Emails Of the thread to disney to make SvS better. So far nothing has happened but we need to keep it up because eventually they will get tired and listen to us.

You know for two years at least I have been sending feed back about the appearance of notices for special events like invasions and the fleet etc, I always freeze for a second as we get the notices, SURELY to goodness the lag would reduce considerably if we didnt have to endure them TWICE? we get them in green text in chat window and in a brown wooden effect box above that too, sometimes we get two messages at once so u see 4 messages, BUT WHY !! Im sure thats a five second job to turn off inline chat messages since u already have them in wooden boxes ?

Im sure we all have suggestions like this, but Im surer that the poor employee who has to pick up the bug messages sees my name on the report n thinks ' OHH boy not that mad woman again ! ' jk of course

There r a lot more reasons why people have quit it is not just cause of SvS (noto and weapon caps, content) SvS is NOT the most important thing in the game, sure it lacks content lags alot but r u and ur friends the only ones who svs? I'm with ex8404 they don't just quit cause of SvS

Ok, let make it clear to you, theres a lot of players who only play bacause of SvS including me because we have grown tired of leveling,looting, etc. Many have already quit because:
-lack of SVS features
-Hackers
-Glitches
-and disney doesnt take svs as serious as other parts of the game
-Bounty porting which also resulted in really bad drama, etc
If svs were to be taken of the game i would quit and im sure im not the only one!(talking about svsers only)

Ok maybe a little mediation is in order. I think the point of the thread was addressed to people who love svs. A lot more people than just members of POF read these threads...just keep that in mind.

You guys can argue over who left what because of whatever, the original context of this thread is getting lost.

Uniting lovers of svs in the cause of petitioning Disney for improvements and fixing problems was the whole point....right?

I love to level my other pirates still...and help my guildmates on each guild when I can....and I love to svs....Its ok if some log on and svs...and log off when they are done. If thats your thing...cool.

Only hardcore, longterm svsers know how many have left game simply because of problems with svs....Leo is one of those...lol...and maybe he just wants to get the point across because....Ship pvp predates any mini game...and is the only competitive part of potco that is almost totally controlled by the individuality/learned skills and earned skills(when they work, and we are all at the mercy of those equally) , of the sailors and gunners.

Well said Molly! and thank you for brining us back to the main point of the thread. idk why some are trying to bring the argument of who left and who didn't. im asking nicely to plz help SvS become better but if you don't, ok. but don't argue here.

Well I thought the maintenance was gonna help but it really seemed to make it worse. Player friends list is messed up and some ships skills were recharging faster than others(take cover, etc) although i think the fixed it back. last email i sent they said "We truly appreciate all your feedback for improving our SVS system. Please be patient as we forward your thoughts and ideas to our Pirates Online Team for further review in the future..."
Please post the respond you got from Disney on the email you sent to improve SvS.

Odd thing to say there, metal1081, Im sure from that comment that u havent tried svs and seen the problems that we are attempting to bring attention to.

Small matter that u have added 2 and 2 and got 5, the truth remains there are people leaving potco because their reasons to play are being clouded over by technical problems, like at the moment the players list bug, Im sure u have seen it ... reported the moment we saw it and still not fixed... its been what three days so far?
But I am very sure that in adding your comment that you personally dont care about the succesful continuance of all areas of the game and the communities that exist within it. We very much do!
