How realistic should POTCO get?

I thought I remembered some release notes they had a while back saying that they introduced lightning and fog, but I never saw that. Anyone seen that?

you can see lightning on top of skeleton ships (although it looks nothing like lightning, it it just well... a blob of white light.) Fog? havent seen that yet...
Anyway, I would also like to see ocean getting improved, from both the shore and while sailing. Like matthew said, there are no waves at all, at sea and on shore. Ships look more like flying above water then sailing above water. The ocean while sailing also looks fake... looks more like land that got covered blue.
