LOL..didn't have anything to do with awards.

From what I can tell, the backup was using most of the servers resources to do it's job and leaving us almost nothing left to be able to browse the forums. I shut down the forums till it was done since keeping the forums open kept killing the server. I've message Nick to look into this further as I don't have access to everything required to fix this sort of problem.
