Thank you, Bart for posting this. Today is bittersweet since it is exactly a month since I lost my Marine. I salute all that have served & the families that give them support on a daily basis.

I am so sorry your family laid the greatest of all sacrifice on the altar of freedom. I shall add a prayer for yours tonite.

Today I reflect on those friends I have lost in the current war, and all those lost in all the wars our nation has fought.

To honor those I served with I dusted off my Regimental crest and Jump wings. I wore them today, as I have done for the past 17 years since I was medically retired from the Army.
