I believe that several months ago they added in gestures for /bored, /impatient, and /confused. Otherwise, I like all these suggestions!

Another one to add to the list. /think. Basically, your pirate would shift their weight to one leg, rub their chin, and look at the sky. Sorta like pondering. It could be /think or /ponder.
