No kidding! These movies are, and always have been, the cornerstone to the empire. From Snow White to Mulan these movies have raked in billions for Disney. And what do they mean focus on guys? This is the list of animated movies produced by D, computer or drawn, since Mulan in 1998

Tarzan 1999
Fantasia 2000 (duh, 2000 LOL)
Dinosaur 2000
Atlantis 2001
Lilo & Stitch 2002
Treasure Planet 2002
Brother Bear 2003
Home On The Range 2004
Chicken Little 2005
Cars 2006
Meet The Robinsons 2007
Bolt 2008
The Princess And The Frog 2009

And this year, Tangled.

Now, check out that list. It seems to me that around 2/3 of it is geared specifically to little boys. Dinosaur, Atlantis, Treasure Planet, Cars, Meet The Robinsons, and Bolt were probably all designed with boys in mind.

And D wants to say they are focusing on boys almost to the exclusion of girls?! Shame on Disney!! What happened to being a family oriented company? As if parents are cranking out nothing but little boys? What, do girls no longer matter? Or are little girls to be stuck with Bratz and .... movies... like that? And D says girls grow up to fast? Well gee, if they are stuck with Bratz because Disney won't give them a good role model, when Disney has always been a driving force behind childhood, what do they expect?

Generations of little girls were raised with the belief that every girl could be a princess, and that dreams really do come true. Taking away Disney Princess is sort of like taking away the hopes and dreams of little girls. Way to go Disney! Disillusion little girls faster. Worse, it could teach them they don't matter as much as boys when they see noting but an endless parade of boy movies but nothing for them. Oh how twisted and wrong that is!!

EPIC FAIL D!

(Note: Yes, I actually mailed that to Corporate Disney.)
