Of course, as Grace suggested, be careful with who you promote right off the bat. A veteran might not be able to do much, but that just gives a potential "bad seed" an early start in infiltrating your ranks. Also, be sure to set up a nice set of rules and guidelines, to help maintain order  Best of luck, and happy pirating!
