We had a crew of four people on light galleon last night, we were making between 600 and 650 gold EACH every time we ported which was like every 30 minutes or so it was crazy.
This was done hammering lvl 20-25 ships with cannons then boarding. Easy money! Poker is a joke 2/4 limit? Come on, lets have at LEAST 10/20 preferably no limit! Last edited by Smeghead; 02-29-2008 at 06:00 AM.. |

if you dislike sailing
you're going to hate the 2nd crew list.
I'm on what I think is the last member of it. (the guy on driftwood island rebuilding the ship). It has been nothing but sinking ships and a lot of them. 20 for the first part, then 36, then another 20, and lastly 8 more. What's worse is you have to plug 10-20 rock crabs to get the next part of the list. The best place for eitc corvettes is between tortuga and cutthroat (hang a sharp left as you leave Tortuga). Around driftwood is another good spot for mid-level ships but can get crowded. A gunner or two would help greatly (especially on the bow cannons while you're approaching). The really big ones are around Padres and Kingshead and between them and Tormenta. Find yourself a good crew to join (or a guild that's fairly active) and stay away from the poker table. A regular Frigate would help your cause immensely. |
