How can you fix this?

It usually happens to me if I have been playing too long thats why they say if you have been playing for more than 2 hours you should relog because it starts getting really slow.

In addition to teleporting as Alffallen said, it also happens if you go through an exit.

Sometimes it'll go away if you're hit by another enemy with a special weapon.

Well thats more because of the memory leaks they can't/havn't fixed. If you read the current issue's page on potco's site(I found it after reporting a error) You will see that they are two seperate problems.

The official walkaround for both is suggested to relog. Though for the memory leak they mean close the program out completely.. The TRUE walking bug can be fixed with just a character reload. The difference is pretty small but his issue he states he walks because he is dizzy. Which you can tell by looking above your health bar and seeing the icon for bash above your head.

For a memory leak. Half the time you may not even notice before the game throws a critical error and closes anyways. However if your game locks up on a loading screen good bet you had one =) Several times I've looked at windows running processes(Ctrl+alt+delete and look for pirates.exe in processes)and seen that the game was using well over half my memory. (1.5gig total) Which is just pathetic for any program to do.

Either way both make you appear slow. Both are no fun. So best to just reload the game every so often anyways. However both issues are known. So maybe one day will be fixed. stsad:

Just get hit again, it sounds like a no-brainer, but it actually works.
