Another instance today.

I was in Raven's Cove minding my own business, going back and forth in between the two Traitor Ghosts. I was there for about 5 minutes when this level 50 comes in and, without asking, decides that it is ok to beginning attack the ghosts. I ask the pirate politely to head somewhere else ( the ENTIRE cave was open,) whether be a new spot or a new server - I just wanted to loot by myself in my little spot, after a stressful day. However, he is unresponsive.

Finally, after whispering to him, the pirate goes ahead and begins to confront me, telling me that I don't own the spot, and I don't have the right to tell him where and where not to play. He then gets his WIFE to argue for him, still repeating that I was the one who "should have asked" (I'm not even sure what she was saying,) and again that her husband can "do whatever he wants."

After me and the pirate try to talk about why you should ask before you begin to get involved, the pirate just ignores me, telling me they were going to contact Disney about me, and then teleports away.

The sad thing about this whole situation is the fact that this pirate told me they were a member of the forums. I know this isn't exactly a hall of wisdom, but I would imagine pirates here are more enlightened in terms of in-game courtesy and politeness.

So, I ask any of you - was I wrong in this situation?

I do find it humorous that most of the more... immature... people in this game have no idea how to report, thank goodness. Therefore, if I report someone and tell them, I get the rather humorous response that they "didn't know I was a mod". While that makes me laugh, what difference does that make, ya know? If I were a mod, it wouldn't matter if you worshiped me, the point is not to be mean to other players.

On another note, about the whole "age" thing, it is sometimes intelligible in other, more (I hope I'm not offending anyone by saying this...) mature games on the PC platform the age of the person you are dealing with. Here and other MMOs of this type, meh, not so much. However, the games requiring custom gaming rigs to play usually have a more mature community. (Which I am a proud member of.) Therefore, a younger member tends to stick out. This may be because of the price of gaming rigs, or the fact that younger children may not know too much about computers. (This is not always true. I was a PC gamer when I was about 12 and I am sure there are a handful of youths out there who are very tech-capable.) But in MMOs, not so much.
