It actually takes a lot of skill to be a good jumper. Thats why most of the people who complain about it, aren't skilled enough to do it themselves. I'm not making a personal attack, just voicing my opinion.

I'm not much for PVP so I haven't tried the jumping but I do know it gets really annoying...so I am glad that the jumping is now limited. Makes it more fair, IMO.

Indeed it does, but for people like me who only use the keyboard, well, it's an entirely different matter. Most jumpers I know utilize the right mouse click for fast turning, which isn't fair for people like me, and also defeats the point of the slow duration.

So I know the Infamy ranks is for everybody. I know that only unlimited can get the rewards. But what I do not know is whether basic access can customize their name tag with thee badges. Does anybody know this. If we cant I dont see the point of earning the ranks if we cant show off.

Actually, I can, and the majority of people I know can jump around an enemy and hack at them to win, but it's not fun.

Where's the fun in running around and hacking at an enemy, knowing you're going to win because they can't spin around fast enough to hit you? It's boring. Up close and personal is the way to go.

But honestly, after playing CODBO, POTCOs PVP is nothing. It's fun, but we need more environmental challenges to be put in our way, and a more advanced combat system, especially when it comes to shooting and the sword.

lol, you can't really compare it to call of duty black Ops (at least... I think thats what you meant) because they get sniper rifles, rocket launchers and machine guns shooting 10 shots a second. A lot more intense then a primitive pistol. Although I would be surprised if you could shoot past the obstacles in the pvp map and hit the person behind it - logic part needs some makeover to make it more fun.

While hard to really compare Black Ops with POTCO, at the same time a bunny hopper is a bunny hopper...to me and most others, they're annoying which is why on many FPS servers like Black Ops it's not allowed and anyone who does it is kicked/banned...mainly because it's no skill, just a cowards way to avoid being hit...and yes I said no skill...being a better shot, outflanking, outhinking takes more skill...tis why I love owning bunny hoppers, they're such children...

Think about it...if it were real life, people would look utterly silly wouldn't they?...heck you never saw Bruce Lee bunny hopping when he fought Chuck Norris in Rome...no, he adapted by shuffling his feet like a boxer to finally take out Norris, not hop around like a rabid rabbit...he adapted...

So if you're facing a difficult opponent, don't hop...adapt...try the age old mouse flick ie pick up your mouse and swipe it the other way for a quick flip round to help you spin around your opponent...circle strafe...just don't hop...it's annoying and most honorable warriors will simply leave...not because you're better...but because we duel/fight honorably...

And he beat CHUCK NORRIS, so that might be the way to go, right?

Back on topic: I'm not that big of a PvP fan, so this isn't huge news for me. However, SvSing with Jason usually turns out good, so this might not be too bad. :P
