True, they did use swords. They also used spears and pikes and like others said, axes when boarding ships, witch POTCO should add. I think what POTCO is put them in their own class like POTCO did with saber, broadsword and cutlass.
I'd love to walk around with a huge a double bladed war axe. and dress in all black, set my head on fire and scare people
