I've seen both and I play both... Eliza is still my favorite. And her player (me) is a guy. I also play her brother John and a guy named Bucky. She's been my only girl, save for little Eliza T. Creststeel on Test, who was designed to look like Eliza as a younger woman.

The thing for me - is not to lie about it. I act as Eliza's personality, but I never pretend that I'm a woman behind her toon. That's where things can go wrong. It's not a secret in my guild or with my friends either.

Someone asked me why she's my favorite and I think for two reasons - 1) Eliza has a distinct personality and she's likeable. 2) If I have to look at a pirate on my screen for hours at a time, maybe its better that shes easier on the eyes.
