Here's a good one:

A person is walking along a path. At the end of the path, it splits up into two different ways. One way is to an evil forest that guarantees death, and one way is to a town. Nearby, are two houses, inhabited by twin brothers. One brother only tells the truth, the other only tells lies. He can only ask ONE question to determine which way is to the town. What does he ask, and why.

He asks "What will your brother say if I asked him about which path I should take?".

Naturally, the brother that always lies will lie about his brother telling the truth, and will tell him to go to the path of certain death.

On the other hand, if he asks his other brother, the one whom always tells the truth; he will say tell the truth about his brother lying, and he'll tell you what his brother would say.

In the end, it's best to go to the path which they do NOT tell you to go to, since a positive + a negative equals negative gain.
