10 years later

it has been 10 years since their parents had died and finn and rowan are in the navy training for 1 reason and 1 reson only and that reason is to kill jolly roger. so 1 day when finn and rowan are on a ship learning how to sail when a pirate raid happens it is the crew of The deathband the viscous group of pirates attacked this ship they boarded it. the ship tried their hardest but they didnt have it in them so in the end the crew gave in they surrendered but the ruthless crew decided to fight them and as finn dove off the ship yelling for his brother to follow Rowan died and as a result of that finn wrote a poem

yet another scar
not visible to those who look with a casual eye
only to those who look with a keen eye
to those who look strait into my heart
yes i have been scared before
but those were scars that made me stronger
but now i have been scared so much that my scars wear me down
i now know that it will become too much
and then i will end it all

it was this poem that showed how he would live the rest of his life trying to cure his scars
