I just wish that everyone would stop the passive-aggressive angry you're rude to me i'll be rude to you ****... my policy when someone is being rude/rep stealing, whatever is to ask nicely twice to stop, third time flat out say leave me alone, stop and if that doesn't work i report them and switch servers... it just seems stupid to waste so much energy being mad at someone in a game, ya know?

The easiest way I found to shake the uninvited leech when leveling staff is to let them follow you around for a few and when you are in the middle of the group in the parade grounds, crank up the staff and fizzle it. They are so anxious for you to ag the group that they immediately do an area attack and get them all on them. Normally takes 5 seconds for them to be sent away the hard way.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind helping others, just ask first. For instance, if i am on a quest for sinking a specific ship, I'll ask if the attacking captain minds if I take 1 cannon shot at it to count the sink. Half the time they oblige, the other half, I just wait for them to sink and finish it off while they are in jail pondering it.
