Strange Problem and at a loss on what to do...

Oh its your computer - its your Graphics card. Switching from Land to Sea is the issue (several including myself have had the issue) and all appear to be almost always ATI cards (in fact many were HD 2xxx cards??) and Disney has no answer for you... sorry.

I had to switch to my OLDER card to get to the ocean (its a shame - having a 512MB hi performance card and now using an older 256 card - tisk tisk).

I tried it all - unstalled / reinstalled / upgraded / downgraded drivers - then did a fresh install of the ENTIRE OS and tried it all again... nada.

If you have better luck though - let us know - many would like to hear a sucess story...

That's why I mainly play on my Mac...

Not much fun being a land-locked pirate (even if I have 4 islands to choose from)
