I have found that TPing where I can get into a quick fight with a critter resets it.
It seems to be your character getting 'stunned' just before teleport, and then since you werent in battle, it doesnt 'wear off' At least in my experience. Samuel McMalley lvl32 Zeppers lvl33 |

That happens to me after I do PVP for some reason. I must have drank some cursed rum that turns into lead after you drink it...
