My fellow pirates,

It is in times like these where I am sure all of you are beginning to wonder if it's really worth it anymore.

A wise man once said that friendships are formed in times of prosperity, but are tried in times of trial. And for the most part, this is true in all situations - after all, it's easier for most people to befriend a man who has just won the lottery than a man who was just arrested for thievery. And this not only applies to friendships, but to many things - family, work, school, and even guilds.

I remember back when PIC first fell apart. We were all quickly separated in to groups - the ones who walked away, and the ones who held down the fort. It was a very hard thing for many of us to see all the work we had put in to this guild just go up in smoke, because we had pirates had dedicated any time we could to make that guild great. And many a people within our circle were disheartened, because they knew that chapter was over.

But, life is like a book. It may have good chapters and bad chapters, but even after a horrific one it's not over til it's over, aye? There are still plenty of chapters after the one you just finished, and unlike a book, where the author has written their fate, you write your own story - you and you alone are left to make your life great.

I won't go in to detail here, as over the course of the next few days and weeks I have decided to once again work as a man behind the scenes to help your guild. But as for the members, the pirates who make a guild not a guild, but a family, I must say this:

When PIC fell apart, the pirates who left were left with the thought that things would never get better. And now as I stand here, as the Guildmaster of a guild with numerous distinctions, respects and dignities, that has lasted over two years and just about to peak at 200 quality members, with the majority of the pirates who stayed now being a part of that distinguished circle, I ask you - who do you think made the right decision?

I leave you the pen. Start writing.
