I have to agree with DP and Lerzba for the POTC movies...
I don't entirely have any favourite movies, but I'd count the newer Batman series (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight). I also must say that Inception, Avatar, and Jurassic Park are all awesome movies. And I'll throw in the new X-Men: First Class as an awesome favourite. Oops... almost forgot the new Sherlock Holmes (yes... the one with Robert Downy Jr.) 
Oh.. and this may not be a movie... but Modern Family beats tons of movies i've seen.
