My sister got the same: a 3DS and Mario Kart 7.

What I don't like about Mario Kart 7 is you can't turbo up fast anymore, it has to automatically happen when you're going around sharp corners.

I do have Mario Kart Ds. Pm me, and we can settle a time for us. And exchange freind codes. I'll half to hook up my DS connection on my 3ds. The thing I don't get is why can't we have 3ds wifi settings set on both connections. I know nintendo is famouse for having the wifi on the first hand held device, but why can't it save for both settings.

I think it's because they used different WiFi connection software standards for the old DS and DS lite systems.

When DSi came out, they updated it completely again, supporting WPA encryptions.

On the DS and DS lite systems, they could only transmit data over a non-secure network or WEP encryption networks.
