Question regarding performance and Anti-Aliasing

lol...here I was looking all over Vista, unable to find that option anywhere!

So today, I decide to try and figure out why I can't get any AA working, I find the memory thing in the Game Options. /blush

Mine is set to default, doesn't seem to help.

Anyone know how to get the AA going? I'm using a 8800GT OC w/Vista.

If you have the nVidia Contol Panel icon in your system tray (by the clock):

Right click on it
Select Performance and Quality settings
Change it off of "Application Controlled" to whatever your system will handle.

Thanks for trying to help, unfortunately, nothing is currently "Application Controlled"

I tried switching everything back and forth, many reboots...one option at a time...still no AA.

But thx anyways. Seems like precious few around here even know what AA is.

Heh. Unfortunately there's really no advanced settings in POTCO to do what you want (AFAIK).

So, if forcing the drivers to force AA isn't working, likely it's not going to.

FWIW, I usually play at high enough resolutions (1920x1200/1680x1050) that AA isn't horrendously missed.
