Really sorry mate that this is happening to you. This sounds like a Windows 7 problem. Biggest clue though is the amount of RAM you have now which is 4 MB. That's the bare minimum all new Windows 7 comps are installed with. You actually need double that amount. Before you buy it, check out their web site for further info:

Could be malicious software too. Could be some program in conflict with another. So check it out, contact their tech support too. Honestly, they're very good at fixing Window problems and this is their responsibility. With your permission, they will do it from their site.

4 GB you mean and Win 7 is less resource hungry than Win XP (at least I think so anyway) and I have 3 GB of ram and could get away with running Win 7 on my machine
