You do realize the only thing they changed in the "patch" is how much the tonics heal. Do you know how simple it is to do that...?

And then more serious bugs will be forgotten, I'm looking at the "known issues" page, "Difficulty with finding the diamond on Queen's Nest, in the Recover Treasure Quest". Are they serious, they have nothing better to do?

- Pearl Battle made impossible
- Health jumping up by 400 when you level up. (-.- the ones who are maxed don't get anything)
- Weapon jamming, not just the pistol
- Now friends list shows random Not Found people and D-names instead of character names in the latest patch.
- Sometimes you use a tonic, and then can't use any weapons or tonics afterwards.

Its apparent Disney has their hands full, and they are looking at the "Queens Nest".

Ok... so being a programmer by trade I spent all my time last night testing this pig on differant machines and submitting bug reports. (Wish I was on beta)
The two most glaring issues I've found besides the annoying little ones that have been mentioned already are:

1. Memory usage has increased with the recent update.
2. Unlisted/Untested video cards are adversely affected. (I.E. game crashes)

The video card is a biggie!

When I first started playing this game in January I could never sail using my laptop. (ATI Radeon Xpress 200M) I updated the drivers and then everything worked great until the April updates.

OH! I see they have updated the release notes dated today (5/2/2008) so it looks like I'll be doing some more testing tonight.

I understand your pain and drive. I have been Beta Testing for many a year. Everything from Games to Operating Systems have fallen victim to my scrutiny, yet I cannot get on Test here because D thinks it is easier to give an untested, unusable program to the public to find the bugs. So what do they do? They add a bunch of small working features that lower level players can enjoy and use without problem, so they can get their subscriptions. Why pay attention to those who have been supporting the game for so long, when there are so many more that are out there, willing to blow their $ to test. After all, is that not what we are doing? Paying to be Beta Testers, with no vision of a public release?

Aye... I've been paying to test Microsoft operating systems for years. Har Har

So maybe we band together and start our own testing team on the open servers and continuously provide feedback to D (when the bug page works). I know that if I started receiving structured input from a band of hooligans about the 450+ websites I run then I would definately sit up and pay attention.

Anyways... just an off the wall thought.

I'm game. I'll discuss with you via PM about getting all these problems consolidated, then perhaps a weekly submission of our findings would be best. As you are in the IT world, you also know that the squeeky wheel does not always get the oil. If we made it a daily occurance, it would be sent straight to the dumpster, I reccon. That being said, we may need to start asking people some specifics about their hardware and whatnot.

OK, before I get off on a tangent again, I'll leave it at that. Yes, I like the idea and would be more than happy to join efforts. We'll brainstorm via PM or Ventrilo, if you wish.
