I was told the ~ was a residue from back when the PvP still was in game play. Lets hope it is coming back, cause I would like to test it out.....And Davy, we would love to PvP you guys!!

I don't know about that one. The '~' has been my hot key to activate my mic on TeamSpeak. And I never saw that PVP menu-thingie show up before until after the April Update. So here's hoping that we're one step closer! And I'm really hoping that they do the PVP right. That ships can go one on one and that we can do fleet battles as well. Ooh, I see a whole new guild night in our futures! Although, most likely our distant future to fall in with the June update that people are talking about. But hey, that's still pretty close.
