IMO if you cant do it on your own, then you should be doing it at all.

True true! I got no problem helping others in their Quests if they come up agains a hard section (Like doing the Gernade Quest at L23 - you needs friends to do all that running around KH ) - but too many were beginnning to 'jump in' at any moment they felt like it...

I had to do it alone (and my second pirate I STILL did most of it alone) - its how you get the REP required + the experience (it looks SO funny to see a L29 with L4 sailing? Whats up with that? LOL - I had my War Frigate at L24 with my Second Pirate...) its how you learn 'tricks of the trade' and still survive - many of the 'gulls' wouldn't know how to make it on their own just because they don't have the experience of what it takes to handle a higher level enemy (switching weapons fast - using weapons in certain order for certain ones...) - you learn or be the example

when I help someone I tend to try and let them experience it so they know how its done rather than looking for me to do it for them.
