After you get hex shot the best way is to use that to take Gypsy down to no voodoo and then use regular lead shot to kill them. It could take a minute or 2 but you will get between 75-100 rep.

yes, once you get hexshot gypsies are the way to go, you can also use it to level other weapons on them as well
