I'm not sure yet. I did a few quest for gold before I started having the black door issue. Then it started after I bought a doll. I've sent the bug report for the door issue a few times, I've lost hope really... I guess I'm making a new pirate.

How does one use the doll? Put it in a weapon slot?

yes, I put mine in f3. if you are unable to equip the doll then it's bugged. I had that happen with three other pirates that I deleted for that reason.
then use your mouse to control the doll the same way you do your cutlass. you will earn right-click options as you go. |
