For example, the WG flying glitch - I look at it like an Easter Egg. There's no benefit to it in terms of gameplay, but it can be darn entertaining.

They must have put it back then, I just tested it, and it worked as explained. My pirate is standing there taking an attack from a merc without me fighting back this whole post. hehe Now that i've tested it though, im logging out.

Oh, I agree, which is whey I figure ones that are not significant issues they may leave, at least until they polish it all up. Now if a glitch caused some instability, then it should be addressed more quickly.
