Music/sound bug

I'd given up and turned off the music entirely, right around the time the musician appeared in Rosie Mcgreedy's bar. I've noticed random sailing sound effects following me on land - seems completely random - as if perhaps I'm hearing the sound effects one of my guild members should be hearing.

The worst sfx glitch is when the firebrand "charging up" sound starts looping and won't stop, no matter what I do. Logging out doesn't stop it - I have to close pirates.exe all the way with [QUIT] to make it stop. In the meantime, I've gotten used to playing without sounds.
