Interesting, I find it quite useful. Makes battling those npc ships easier, and lowering the likelyhood of sinking and losing your cargo.
With sailing, its never about the reps for me.
It has always been the first skill I master on all of my pirates irregardless.
Are you saying you dont put any points on your broadsides?
(we are given one in each to start). So to correct you, it would never be a waste of 10 skill points irregardless of ones perspective, 'maybe' 8, but without any information its hard for me to come to that conclusion.
It seems obvious to me why someone would put more skill points in them, but as to what effect putting fewer in them would have I dont know. Being able to sink ships with a single broadside helps to fill quests quickly.
Windcatcher doesnt even work, how many points have people wasted here?
