I can't get in the game!

the only way I got on today was to create a new pirate
my old one won't work
it crashes every time I try to login with it

I also crash out back to the log in screen every time I try to play with my level 9 player, but I can get in with my level 5 character.

I really hope they fix this, because I am not looking forward to repeating all the quests again on another new charater.

Why not? That's the point of beta!!! As bugs get ironed out, characters sometimes get deleted, or you have to start over. It's part of being beta tester, knowing that you MIGHT have to start over if they find a bug that requries you to create new characters.

Are you also hoping that you will still have your beta character when the game is released? Don't keep your hopes up too much.

BTW, I also can't login on my lvl 8 character. I can login ok with my old character tho.

I wasn't able to get on with my main pirate, but was able to get on with my back up pirate. Today that has stopped working, so now I'm creating a new one.

I don't know how they expect us to test the upper levels if they won't let us get there.

Actually, I think there is an unofficial fix. When I logged in today, it had to download some fixes, one for each phase. Since then the lag has dropped down and the crashing is lower. AND I can log in, which rocks. XD

I enter my password, hit play game, and then it goes to a black screen, and the evil Microsoft message comes up. I can not even get to a point where I could create a new pirate, let alone my others! The opening screen does now show the May 18th upgrade information.

The exact same thing is happening to me.

After i select my pirate character the game goes to the loading screen and after 2 or 3 seconds crashes to the desktop... strange i've not had a single problem till now other than the lag.

My second Grace made it to level 8 tonight along with the cannon, sword, etc. Alas, just like my first Grace who was a level 10, I can no longer log into them. So, look on the horizon for Grace 3! At least she can go in the forests! Perhaps they are testing to see just how fast we can get through the quests so they can be sure they are not too easy. That is what beta is all about, or so I have heard!
