Who is able to play on their main pirate?

Well, it just go worse. About the only thing I was able to do anymore was fight ships, and now that is kaput too. I can no longer repair my ship. This is getting rediculous, especially when you read all the glowing reports on piratesonline.com.

I can't even get to the place where I can choose my pirate, I get the "POTCO has experienced a problem and has to close, we are sorry for the inconvenience" message.

play the main pirate?? hahaha.....no play at all for me. Game won't connect thanks to the update and must close now...Sorry for the inconveince and have a nice day mate...ARGGGGGGG! i'm just about done trying now......

i am getting the same error - (using windows XP computer) - tried unistalling and reinstalling a few times also , still no luck

I still get the evil Microsoft message, too. Maybe the game caught a virus! It is strange that some people can get on, and others, like me, can not get to the pick your pirate screen at all.
