Things I found out about host GM

i was pointing out that people have seen and witnessed by video renderings and in beta testing that the kraken is in game

and that they wouldnt remove its code, ai, effects, etc. from the game just because it didnt work properly in testing it was simply disabled

that was to help my point that the Kraken is a comming character in the game otherwise it would have been removed from the game totally

here is a screen shot from imageshack (of course uploaded to the forums because some odd reason i cant link to imageshack)



looks to me like thats the Krakens Code in game?


and where your quoting me saying I think, I think etc.. thats where i was speculating as to why they disabled it

not why i think its in the game etc.

all i was stating is that out of the list posted in this thread - you can be sure that the Kraken is in the game and will eventually be open server as well

Plus we'd already speculated most of that from the videos etc available on the DxD site showing the Kraken in development (already knew the code existed).

It initially came across as sensationalizing information we knew already

Many of our users jump to conclusions quickly

Not sure of the source of your image, but I certainly hope its not something available out on the web somewhere

So i can assure you the AI, Code, Models, Effects, The Kraken are still there - they just are not enabled in game

I still think Disney took it out for the following reasons

You still think? Well - this isnt from your source - this is what you think... This is your first time playing Multi-response though... I didn't expect you to get a hi score hehe

A. when Kraken Spawns in game it probably creates a bit of lag near players

B. when kraken is in game and a fair amount of ships are around it might cause lag due to the size of its models and effects

C. I would imagine they are working on its hit-detection a bit more because a model that has the ability to grab and hold another model would take a bit of work to make it look and function properly

So all in all my guess as to why it was disabled in beta and testing was due to some technical issues

I hope they have worked it out because I want to See Kraken in game that would be AWESOME!

Agreed - these are very valid reasons why the Kraken currently isnt in the game. Like the BB, there was probably a glitch in the Krakens functionality which kept crashing the game and they had to pull it...

But this what you think (your guess) - in fact its what we have all thought for some time (our guess)... you just said so

So, your sources were a) the beta testers (which I mentioned) and b) the video (which I mentioned)...

Ya know - luckly for you its *Redemption Round* - most players don't get such a rare chance! Its because of what you posted later - which if we can get that confirmed - may overlook your 'confirmation claims' and actually get you that new car after all...

Once again - agreed (to a point). It may be possible to leave parts of Kraken (besides the bad sections of code and missing activation) in the game as they are never triggered.

But taking examples of what we know already doesn't help your point - it makes your position weaker because instead of giving us the source - you just listed off what we know already... we already know the Kraken was in Beta, We have seen the videos on XD, we have even received the confirmation from the GM visits that its being looked at, and it makes sense that some of the code would stil be in the game...

Now THIS makes you a potential winner - but not for confirming your source. Since you did not confirm your source - I dismiss the claim until proven otherwise with a 'real source name or location' - not a list of reasons that you think or we already know...

Now for the pic - this is a nice find. Was it taken from your computer? It appears to be a MAC and not a PC, or from a program (possible exe decoder? Actual C++ or other exe builder?) Its a good pic, but - this is *Redemption Round* and this needs confirmation - just tell us what program / directory / system this is from - and you win that fancy new car!

Oh we have no doubt it has parts in the game - or that it will eventually hit POTCO - but you were asked for source confirmation and you posted back reasons why its disabled - we know why... its broken

The Directory Structure Pic is a nice find (though it would be nice to know where it was found on the comp... when I arrive home I'll have to start looking. If you know - thres a shiny car waiting for you )

So if we cound get a) source name? or b) post steps to confirm this pic? - you are a winner! No - I do not want your reasons again as to why its disabled, the already known proof of being in beta or the video renderings we've all seen...
