Well, this is a tough choice but I have to say the second movie. It had more action and it was an all around better movie to me. I do agree with icecoolio that this explains what Pirates of The Carribean is really about. And the second was much more creative to me.
And Elizabeth.. Better than Jack and Will? No, sorry, but Jack Sparrow is probably better than Will and Elizabeth together. Oh, and nice signature Ducky. -warner

It's like The Lord of the Rings. The first one had almost no fighting in it, and the second one had a TON of fighting in it. That's just how movies are made today. That's all there is to it.

I would have to go with POTC because that movie was good throughout the entire movie, while I did not like the beginning and ending of POTC 2.
