Yes this task seems to be totally random,
I got the tongs off first sargeant just outside the fort in port royal on first character, but on second after over 15 sargeants still not got, then game reset my tasks, and had to do all wills again, im doing one by one in order, so havent tried tongs again. 'Keep it Kool  '
