This update has made the game nearly unplayable for me. Also, thanks for rewarding us long time players with lvl 40 pirates by giving us something new to do that will give us some rep.
How about a new notoriety and weapon cap, huh? DisCashney are you listening, I doubt it. It's time for all of us to communicate to Disney with our wallets, cancel your account and make sure you tell Disney why. |

this is not a big deal to me but did anyone else notice that the skeleton decorations have been removed from the sloops and galleons? maybe it's wishful thinking on my part but maybe they intend to let us customize our ships in the future and these skeletons on the front will be an option?

Jack, far from a big deal to me as well. I couldn't care less if I could customise my ship decorations, unless that decorating came with a quest that also gave me the option to increase my nort and weapon levels...

i too have noticed this,while playing toontown the bugs were fixed in around a week-month. more experienced isnt a crazy idea,toontown's been out for 6 years(if i recall) POTCO only a year. |

with the ships now moving sideways at phenomenal speed, and being able to pull a 180 and get you with both broadsides, this is great!.... why didnt we think of this?
Its now almost impossible to level a new pirate without a lot of help. last night we were boarding ships, and I was surprised to see that after grappling, the enemy crews were boarding my ship? No stop and swing over, just hit the button and there they were.... I would hate to leave the game, but I would think that the developers would put a little effort into keeping the fun in the game. It looks to me like they are rushing the developement for something, but killing the game in the meantime. |

While I liked the new weapon quests, (short as they were) and being able to re-allocate my skill points, for the most part I'm very disapointed with this latest update.
First complaint is that while many requested STRONGER enemies what we got was more AGGRESSIVE enemies. While my current lv40 can handle this my latest, at lv13, was being MAULED by crabs and scorpions on Rumrunners when sent to get dire wasps. One of you mentioned that we should be working as a"crew" and that's fine IF there are others you want to work with onlline when you are, but face it, many of us prefer to do our own thing, in our own time, without having to depend on someone else. As for the new ship boarding, if I set mine to my liking it should stay that way. Not reset to allow the public everytime I land my ship. I lost almost 19k in the 25k no sink quest because an uninvited "crew" kept taking the wheel every time I stopped to make repairs. I've dumped umteen people off my decks only to have the "public" box rechecked and more idiots back on board. If I want unknown people in my crew I'll open recruiting where I can choose the level and skills of the crew. ![]() If big-D wants to fix bugs get rid of the flying enemies and ememies that can walk through walls, rocks, buildings...... when we can't. They are a royal pain in the bilges. Enemy ships that can do not just 180's but 360's? Give me a break. Ships still firing weapons AFTER they are sunk and under water????? One shot kills when you still have almost your enitre hull left????? Ships disapearing from the side your firing on only to jump to the other side????? This even happens in PvP. While I do like the new bosses and being able to reassign skills much of the good is overshadowed by the bad. I agree with what Maya Kate said. Being chased indefinitely by enemies and having them swarm you is just plain annoying for upper level pirates , really detracts from the game and must be overwhelming for lower level pirates.
Forcing people to crew is a bad idea. One of the key attraction of pirates for me is it can for the most part be played solo. One can go on line for short spells with out worrying about getting a crew together for everything. I'm sure there are many like me. They need to fix the swarming, the endless chasing, flying, disregard for solid objects that plagues the game now. I may discontinue paying for the game if stays the way it is. |

Something also reported all through test it shouldn't be powerful enough to do single shot kills. The hidden agenda not mentioned, is the pistol reduction also in pvp of 1/4 the damage now. A full aimed shot now doing barely what a quick shot was doing. A quick shot doing like 1/5 damage. To top that off I remember doing more than 200 points damage with fully maxed stats before this all started, then where it is now. Where now is the so called upgrade to pistol listed in new notes release two weeks later when this Holloween event comes out. Though I did report the abuse done to pistol on test, do you think actually anything will be done, probably as much that was done with hex shot when reported. Such things as this being put on Disney's blog site all being rejected also no better. Any of this truth put out there automatically rejected gains what, just more frustrations of customers. So when anything doing with evolving the game is ignored, while anything listed by free accounts saying we love getting more closer and more closer to what paid accounts get "is posted", what can we expect? Where are some answers for some of these things existing more than half the time this game has been out? |
