Here lies Cap'n Seaford,
Who loved to play with his sword. One day he got in a fight; To test out his might, But boy did he ever get bored. On his way to his home But forgot to bring his comb. So he decided to go back Without any slack, He messed his head up on a stone. Now for the MEANING of the poem! First line: Obviously he died Second line: Loved playing with his sword Third line: Got in a fight Fourth line: To test out his might Fifth line: then got bored Sixth line: so he decided to go back home Seventh line: but he forgot his comb, his hair was messy due to the fight Eighth line: so he walked all the way back (shoe untied) Ninth line: no slack on his showlaces making him trip Tenth line: banged his head hard on a rock.
