Is there a way to choose which tonic gets utilized when in battle, or is it just a random chance which one gets used?

Each type of tonic comes in a different looking bottle. The tonic that will be used appears on the Tonic button at the bottom to the right of the weapon controls. The program tries to match the tonic to the amount of health you need.
