As it has resurfaced - I have sticked the thread, with the condition that it should be reviewed for accuracy now and confirmed in a few days by someone. Should the list be old / not updated, then we'll unsticky it and let someone make a new list (should they feel inclined... remember - you get the sticky - you get the upkeep )

Nice to see a list of ships so that you can see all the options for once.

I name all my ships shadow demon as my pirates is Arioch Lord of Chaos

And I find it quite fitting that a Demon lord should have a ship named the shadow demon.

Actually during privateering when sinking an enemy ship I have been know on occasion to utter " And the Lord Taketh away" in local chat so that the enemy ship knows exactly who sunk them.

Not just the ship but the captain at the helm.

Disney should let people pick names for the ships just as they do pirates. why not? after all they do get the final say after all and can simply reject a ship name.
