Difficulty in getting on Public Ships

you can click on the map (pressing the "M" key) and return to port you left from such as padres or cuba. The real trick is to remember where the return buttun is on the bottom of the map.

That's a good idea...I'll have to try that next time as this happens to me about once every five times I try to board a ship...usually have to close and reload game.

I have been able to find my way to a cannon a couple of times. One time, it actually fixed the problem...the other time I was on a cannon and could shoot, but of course, had no idea what I was shooting at LOL...
