The old Pirates Online (before change of towns)

I missed this period. I didn't start playing until around late 2009

Mid to late 2008 i think for me... but my computer was way too slow to handle the game... but i do remember fighting an alligator on the beach. I also remember seeing like a million pirates sailing all at once. Too bad it didn't work. Whatever... at least i still have distant memories of the old Tortuga and Port Royal. lol. Tried to swim to Rumrunner's once, gave up after twenty minutes.

Must have been pretty sad to just lose the islands, with no warning, or a chance to have one last look at it. Though I hope they redesign Cuba. It's a pretty boring island.

Ugh... I know. It's only good for a rest stop. Make some potions, restock on weapons and ammo and tonics, get new clothes, play poker, get a quest from Tia Dalma, buy a tatoo, leave.

Something I find strange is - Disney remake all but one of the main islands. But the one they don't remake is the one that needed it most! I saw some pictures of old Tortuga, old Padres and old Port Royal, and they were wonderful! I think Disney are mad - the lot of 'em!

Heard a rumour that you can get to the old islands from the secret cave in Team PvP. I made a thread about it. More information would be great.
