During this historical period the near east (and sometimes now by Europeans) was how the area we now call the middle east was referenced too. I used the generic term arab in my own reference.

The far east during this historical period is now referenced to as Asia by most people.

Mate I have studied history for the past 25 years. I have taught it for a while as well. I am fully aware of what is what. I choose not to try to teach history here.

This is a fan forum for a fantasy game loosely based on the golden age of piracy. So if you wish to have a discussion on the finer points of history and the terminology relating to it, lets do so in private messaging.

El Dorado is a city of gold, not a person.

El Dorado was also a South American tribal chief that the Spanish called "The Golden One".

Don't forget scimitars, boarding axes, epees, and rapiers. There's apparently more than that. POTCO better give us an option to store weapons.

Not sure if this was founded out but Calapsyo is Tia Dialama so I think there's going to be some tough voodoo weapons.

Yep, we found this out in Pirates of the Cribbean: At World's End. So Calypso's Radiance should be one tough doll if it ever gets released, and I can imagine the Lost Blade of Calypso would have some seirous Voodoo Damage abilities on it.

Lost blade could be as strong as el patron sword it self who knows I guess this means Disney is actually working on the futrue for us.

Stronger. El Patron's Sword was just cursed by him, a mere mortal. Lost Blade Of Calypso would have been blessed by a goddess. See a little difference there?

Maybe it will be the same damage with different powers, like extreme voodoo damage and instead of ghost critical damage or something? I'm not sure but i hope that disney actually gives the weapons new looks instead of cheap run offs of lower ones.

El Dorado wouldn't be especially powerful, but it might slow/freeze your enemies temporarily by turning them to gold. Not likely, but it's always fun to speculate.
