Help! Clap O' thunder potion too hard!
I have made several attempts with clap o' thunder potion, and read the potion guide, but still with no success! Just making 2 essences and my page is already filled up!

If people enjoy it it doesn't NEED a point.
Ruisen...Are you keeping your colors together? Since you only need three colors, make sure you are making this on Port Royal. Here's how I did it...From left to right...
That way, you always have some place to drop your colors. For example...If you get a green and a red, you drop it on the first column lining up the green with the green and the red with the red. And so on down the line. REMEMBER:
Hope this helps. Good luck. |

To add on to Ex, try to avoid "stacking" as much as possible. Try to make use of every piece.

To a certain extent, yes. Avoid stacking. But when you are using three colors to make three Essences, sticking to the column thing has never failed to work for me.
Add another color? Then I mess it up every time. |

There is an easy way to do this. I will post a screen later on how it looks, but here is the order.
From the left two blue, two green, two red, two blue. You put the double blues where there are more. I will update with a pic. I do all my three color potions this way and they go pretty fast. I played a bunch of tetris while deployed in the military back in the day so this system worked good for me and I grind out the potions real fast, three color ones anyway. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Port Royal only has three of the ingredients (colors - red, green and blue), which makes it easier for ones that require those three.

I also on occasion have received 100 rep bonuses because I made groups of 8 souls. |

Can you show some screenies of how you did that? I can only make 2 souls at one time.

These tips are very true. I make sure I do as every tip given here and I have not had any problems with any of the potions. I actually found clap o thunder to be easier than a few others.
Keep working them, they will get easier. Also potions are very useful to me. Being that im almost a 50, I use the rep point potion constantly, and the clap o thunder will work wonders if we r in an invasion and u happen to get sent to jail, at that time the last thing u want it to have the grogyness. Also a good trick to staying alive while fighting Jolly is to use the Lively Bucko Brew. It helps to keep up your health even when he has put that horrible curse on you tasking most of ur life. |
