OH HI. I saw the door open, so I desided to walk right in and WHOA! I found a laptop! So I desided to write this Black Saill issue, and it's all about ME!!! So here we go!

Ok ok ok, I gotta type this REALLY FAST, or Nooby is goning to find me! Anyway, this week one of the biggest updates has come out on test, the introduction on the new island, Raven's Cove! Raven's Cove is home to a few new types of enimies, new quests, and a whole new story quest! It also includes a new system that lets you respond to NPC like never before. This new feture lets you like to NPCs using a selection of already chosen options, and the NPC respondes to what you put as a answer! Also, you have alot of new cursed wepons to your desposel. One thing to watch out for in Raven's Cove however, are the Red Ghosts. The Red Ghosts only apper in-game at night time on the game, so for the time that it's not dark, your safe. But, when he sun goes down,you better watch out! As these things do 30,000 damage! Enough to K.O a maxxed Pirate!

Also, on live game, fishing has been relesed! I will not go to deep into fishing, but I will say that this is a very good adition to Pirate's Online.

Ahoy mates!

Word on the street is that for the first time in the Caribbean, the fishing be biting on what were once dry old lines left to dust! Pirates from all over have flooded the docks of Port Royal, Tortuga, and Padres Del Fuego in order to take part in such a spectacle! Some even have gone so far as to pay thousands of gold for just a few trips out on their own private fishing boat!

The Current Situation:

When you first decide to hit the waters, you start yourself out at level 1, which a Novice Fishing Rod. It doesn't require much skill in order to level up the first few times - just head to any open spot on the dock, and cast your line in to the water by holding down the left-mouse button, and releasing at whatever power level you choose. When a fishie come across your path, it will most likely go for the bait. As soon as it chomps down, click the mouse, and hold it down to reel her in, without allowing the fishing to pull away and steal the lure. Simple, aye?

When you hit level 5, be sure to upgrade your rod to a Journeyman's Rod to catch even better fish. When you hit this level, your gonna need to take it a step further to level faster.

Although you can't rent a ship yourself yet, you can always board somebody elses! Head to a dinghy, and look for a Public Fishing Boat (preferably one that is parked out in deeper waters closer to the edges of the map.) When you get aboard, cast your lure and try to catch either Barracudas, Dragon Fishes, or Black Chimeras. These fish give pretty good rep a piece, and should help you level at great speeds. Just be warned, these guys are pretty tough, and require focus and quick reflexes! Using Heal Line often can be a real lifesaver!

When you do manage to hit Level 10, you can get yourself your own boat for only 1k gold per trip! If you do decide to grab your own boat, just head over to the Fishing Master to launch one. This Fishing Boat enables you to sail the waters of the Caribbean, with the ability to roman in search of new types of fish! Although it usually doesn't matter where you pick, the most popular spots are usually off the coasts of Raven's Cove and Padres, as well as near Tormenta, and Cangrejos.

Once you hit Level 15, you can consider the most tedious part of your Fishing experience over. Head back to any Fishing Master to grab a Master Rod, and head back out on the waters! This is when you get to sink in to the deepest waters, to catch some "reel" monsters! The fishes you find down in the depths carry massive amounts of rep and gold, but keep in mind. The Mega Mouth fishes give the most rep, while the Lump fish is rumored to drop the best loot. As for the shiny, Sand Tiger Sharks are where it's at! Keep after these larger beasties, and not before long, you'll truly be a great fisherman!

Once you hit Level 20, it's time to go hunting for some Legendary fish! Here's how you hit the hunt, from start to finish:

1. Head back to the Fishing Master, and pick up a few Legendary Lures. They're quite expensive, but you might want to stock up just incase one of those nasty tuna run off with it!

2. Launch yourself a Fishing Boat, as Legendaries can only be found in the very deepest waters. Your spot really doesn't matter, unless your looking for a specific fish.

3. Take your line, and cast it out AS FAR AS POSSIBLE. The longer your line is in the water, the better chance you have of catching a legend.

4. As soon as your lure hits the water, hit Sink Lure. This prevents the lure from shifting to the left while it sinks down. As soon as sink wears off, hit Stall Lure. Even when your lure hits the bottom of the ocean, keeping hitting these two buttons. When used at the very bottom of the floor, Sink Lure holds your lure in place, just like Stall.

5. If a fish tries to go for your lure, right before it chomps down (with the "?" over it's head) wriggle your line by giving a small click. This scares the fish away.

6. If your lucky, a cutscene will come in, and all the fish will run off. In comes in, the Legendary fish! A battle with a legend is broken down in to threee different, alternating phases. Here's how to handle them:

Struggle

When you have to click fast to struggle with the fish in, a small fishing rod of sorts will show up at your side. Depending on how fast you click, it will shift froom Green (Good) to Red (Bad.) Inorder to ensure how to click as fast as possible, here's what to do: hold your mouse with your non-clicking hand. With your other, take your clicking (index) finger, and just poke away at the left-mouse button like crazy. This allows you to click mega-fast, without having your mouse run across the room.

Reel it In!

No real strategy here. Just stay calm, and have your mouse circle the rod in the direction the red arrow follows. Don't get too fast, or the pointer might go whack, and mess up the rod on you.

Catch the Reel

Sometimes the handle will begin to spin out of control, leaving you to grab it as fast as possible. Depending on how strong the fish is at that moment, the speed will vary. Either way, you need to catch it fast.

Try not to follow it around like a cat-and-mouse. Instead, go after in quick, horizontal, cutting motions, going right in front of it, and then grasping down. This will make it a lot quicker.

With enough patience and determination, you will have caught yourself a Legendary Fish! Congrats!
