Ahoy!
Founder here after a long long long long break from the game. After a long time finding out what my log-in info was, and downloading the game, I actually logged in.
I still have the founder title over my character which is neat. But I have no clue what I'm doing in the game  My character is still level 40, which was the level cap when I was still playing, and looking at my friends list, doesn't look like any of them leveled past 40  Anyways I'll see if I can figure out how to play this game again

Welcome back to POTCO! it sounds like you need a guild though, and i'm sure the SS would love to have you! if you need help with the game, just ask and i'll be happy to set up a meeting to show you around.

Welcome aboard! ALOT has changed. I think the mods have a founder group to put you in last I checked.

Actually, the founder group is only for the first 1,000 or so users registered on THIS site.

It has indeed been an adventure trying to remember how to do things. I was out sailing, couldn't figure out why a ship won't sink. Then I saw the green circles :/ Ok...grappling! I remember that...now how do I let go of the wheel....got it....hmm...how do I shoot the cannon....got it...grappling hooks...got it...board boat.....oh no! how do I fight? Finally killed everyone, looted the ship, back on board safely Boarded a French ship and I got slaughtered  All my stuff is leveled to 25, I remember staying in one cave all day, everyday, leveling up the daggar. And we would grind at some island killing trees or something to level the sword and gun. I seem to be doing a quest for a fine daggar killing low level stuff...which is fine by me! It's fun trying to figure this out again hehe Once I figure all this out, I'll start looking for a guild. Looks like my old Bad to the Bonez mateys have stopped playing. |

Welcome back, Pirate Rose. I can totally understand the "being Clueless" as I have been out of game for months. So many changes & updates. Need time to get your sea legs back. Still working on that myself. (Rum does help when I get lost & confused)

Welcome back to POTCO, Rose!
Getting back in to a game you haven't played for a while is rough, but it's like riding a bicycle. A little hard at first, but it'll come back to you after your memory is jogged. Of course, if you ever need help with anything, you're welcome to private message any of these pirates, or myself. And, sorry to hear about your friends going inactive. If you would like, you're welcome to look around the forums for some pirates to crew up with, guilds to join, etc. Best of luck Happy pirating!

Just wanted to mention, Rose, that there are a few BTTB'ers around. The ones that I know have alts in other guilds like BBK. My third pirate is BTTB, but she is my smallest & in-line for catching up. And at the rate that I am going will prolly be a long time-LOL

So glad to hear you have come back to the game. Bad to the Bonez is still around... just with a few people - myself being one. Feel free to PM me and maybe we can meet up and catch up. I also have an alt in BBK. Captain Grizzly and I have called BTTB and BBK home for a while now.... Let me know if you need any help getting back into the game - I'm always looking for something to do with friends
