Current News: January 21 2009 Feats of Strength Event Wrap-Up

Pirates flexed their muscles on the beach of Tortuga for recognition and loot this past weekend in the Feats of Strength competition! Among them -- Thadius Blackbeard, Matthew Sharkskull, Sven, O' Smythe, Johnny Pondrat, Bill Gunbeard, Elizabeth Wildswine, Maria Scurvyshot, and that scurvy seadog Edward Edgemenace. Those were just a few of the rascals, scoundrels, villains, and knaves that competed in the event - we had an overwhelming response and want to thank all the Pirates that signed up and all those that competed! Great job Pirates!

We'll be posting some of the winners to the Grog Blog in a few days along with info about future events like this (and how you can compete). The competition was all in good fun - there were a few bugs and mishaps that happened during this event, but it has helped us discover these problems so we can address them for future events.
